Our Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology provides a Master of Science program in Biotechnology, featuring a curriculum that embraces the interdisciplinary essence of the field. This program combines rigorous scientific coursework with specialized studies in BioBusiness, intellectual property, entrepreneurship, and regulatory compliance. The 30-credit program can be completed in one year or extended for working professionals pursuing part-time studies, offering five distinct specialization paths.
This particular concentration focuses on advanced scientific coursework, including hands-on laboratory experiences, tailored for students aiming for advanced degrees (M.D., Ph.D., DDS) or careers in research, healthcare, or industry. It also prepares graduates for leadership roles in biotech laboratory operations, product innovation, production, and quality assurance.
