Our rigorous one-year, non-thesis Master of Science program serves as a springboard for admission to medical school, dental school, allied health programs, or Ph.D. programs. Students come from varied academic backgrounds, primarily but not limited to science fields. We offer specialized guidance and resources to prepare them for healthcare careers - whether by expanding their knowledge, readying them for the challenges of professional school, or gaining valuable research experience. Our faculty members bring firsthand expertise in professional school admissions, with several holding positions at Georgetown School of Medicine and having served as admissions interviewers. Additional support includes resources from the Department of Pharmacology & Physiology, career counseling from Georgetown's biomedical experts, and insights from admissions officers at professional schools nationwide through guest lectures.
