The Global Human Development Program provides a comprehensive two-year, full-time experience designed to equip students with analytical abilities, specialized knowledge, and hands-on project experience essential for careers in global development. The program's coursework blends fundamental studies in economics, political economy, data analysis, and program management, structured to prepare graduates for diverse roles across all stages of development work in various settings. With a practical focus, the curriculum is enhanced by real-world components including the Capstone Project, international summer placements, DC-based internships, ethics seminars, professional workshops, and language training—all working together to deliver both theoretical knowledge and applied competencies for impactful careers in development. This 48-credit program (excluding optional language studies) spans two academic years to fulfill graduation requirements.
