The English Department provides a challenging curriculum culminating in an M.A. in English. By engaging with English studies, you'll explore the linguistic and structural elements of narratives across various mediums—from poetry and drama to novels, memoirs, films, and video games. You'll examine both profound and subtle emotions, monumental and trivial conflicts, heroic and ordinary actions, along with the eloquent and straightforward language that collectively reveal profound insights into human identity.
