This program is designed for students who have experience or a strong interest in fields like molecular mechanisms, proteomics, or biophysics. As a PhD student in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular & Cellular Biology, you'll receive comprehensive training. Thesis advisors come from diverse specialties, ranging from stem cell research and tissue engineering to classical biochemical analysis, with opportunities to focus on computational or systems medicine.
