As someone with a global perspective, you've witnessed Asia's expanding impact and understand its significance in economic and geopolitical matters. There's no denying that Asia has emerged as a dominant economic force in this century.
Perhaps this explains your interest in pursuing a master's degree in Asian Studies. You aim to establish yourself in a position of leadership, even if your exact career path remains undefined, and you recognize that certain competencies and exposure are essential for thriving in this domain.
Developing expertise in Asia's economic systems, political landscape, and historical context, while networking with professionals well-versed in this area, will prove invaluable for both your professional prospects and personal development.
The mandatory thematic concentration will enhance your grasp of current Asian affairs. You can select from five specializations: Modern Asian History, Asian Politics and Governance, Asia's International Relations, Asian Economics and Development, or Asian Arts and Spiritual Traditions. You also have the option to create a customized concentration with approval from the program director.
