The GWSPH provides exceptional students with a distinctive chance to pursue a combined Bachelor of Science (BS) in Public Health and Master of Public Health (MPH) degree annually. This accelerated program aims to develop future public health leaders dedicated to enhancing community health at local, national, and global levels. It's particularly suitable for pre-professional students passionate about public health challenges.
To encourage students to expand beyond conventional undergraduate studies, Milken Institute SPH grants participants direct admission to the MPH program, waiving the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) requirement. Furthermore, students can achieve both BS and MPH degrees more quickly and cost-effectively compared to pursuing them independently. This BS/MPH program represents a multi-tiered, dual-degree opportunity where students simultaneously engage in undergraduate and graduate studies, with degrees conferred in separate semesters.
