This 33-credit professional program equips students with skills for practical application and advanced studies in peace promotion and conflict resolution. Graduates pursue careers across diverse sectors including government, international peacebuilding, humanitarian aid, corporate environments, labor organizations, community programs, and educational institutions where conflict management expertise is valued. The curriculum covers foundational theories, methodologies, and ethical frameworks in peace and conflict studies, with hands-on learning through simulations, workshops, fieldwork, and internships. Learners can choose from six specialized concentrations or customize their own focus area. The MS program offers flexible enrollment in fall or spring semesters, with both part-time and full-time study options available, including numerous online course offerings.
