Psychology students working toward a Bachelor of Science degree can meet the applied psychology requirement through the Work and Organizational Psychology concentration (12-13 credits).
A minimum GPA of 2.00 is required for all courses counting toward the concentration. Those completing the Psychology Department Honors Program (PSYC 490, 491, and 492) with an I/O psychology-focused honors thesis/project may, with approval from their thesis committees and the associate chair for undergraduate studies, replace one concentration course with their honors work.
All students can-
pursue independent research projects
participate in global learning experiences through Mason's coursework and study abroad programs
get involved in various community service initiatives
gain career preparation through internships, specialized minors, and other professional development opportunities
