The Graduate Training Track in Developmental Psychology equips future developmental scientists with the expertise to study and foster positive growth in children, adolescents, and families. Upon completing the PhD program in Developmental Psychology, graduates will:
Develop comprehensive knowledge of psychological principles, with specialized expertise in cognitive, cultural, socio-emotional, linguistic, and neurological influences on child and adolescent learning and development.
Master diverse research methodologies, ethical research practices, and advanced statistical analysis techniques.
Design and execute innovative research that advances understanding and promotes wellbeing in children, adolescents, and families.
Gain familiarity with research funding sources and practical experience in proposal development.
Deliver professional presentations and produce scholarly publications, including conference posters and articles in academic journals.
