Students earning the Associate in Science in Nutrition and Dietetics for Transfer Degree will gain guaranteed priority transfer admission to CSU programs in Nutrition and Dietetics or related fields. This curriculum equips students with essential scientific knowledge about human nutrition while developing the competencies needed for advanced studies at CSU campuses. Prospective students should consult with an academic counselor to verify specific course requirements at their target CSU institution. The ASSIST platform can help identify if additional classes (such as organic chemistry) are needed for particular universities. Graduates will apply principles from physical and biological sciences to analyze how food and nutrients influence health and disease.
