The Course-Based Master of Science (MS) program offers a structured path for students aiming to enter professional schools or working professionals seeking an advanced graduate qualification. Typically completed within 18-24 months, the Course-Based MS requires:
Academic Requirements: Minimum 32 graduate-level semester hours (including 5000+ level courses and approved 4000 level courses), with at least 21 semester hours receiving letter grades (excluding S/U options). Students receive initial guidance from the Program Director before forming a supervisory committee during their first year, which oversees the Comprehensive exam, Directed Independent Study (DIS), and research paper submission.
