Florida State University's MFA Production program provides an intensive conservatory-style education, enabling students to specialize in a particular field while acquiring comprehensive training in core production techniques. This dual approach fosters both a holistic grasp of film production and advanced expertise in a chosen filmmaking discipline. Through a rigorous 90-credit, six-semester sequential program, you'll gain hands-on experience with a curriculum that balances wide-ranging production competencies with focused study in your selected specialization.
Graduates complete this two-year conservatory equipped with both specialized skills for their chosen field and versatile capabilities suitable for diverse roles across pre-production, principal photography, and post-production workflows.
