Florida State University provides two Master of Arts in Arts Administration programs and a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Management: The Arts Administration/Music track is housed in the College of Music, tailored for those holding a Music degree. The Arts Administration/Art program, offered by the College of Fine Arts' Department of Art Education, welcomes applicants with backgrounds in Art, Arts Education, Arts Administration, or Performing Arts.
The Theatre Management program operates through the College of Fine Arts' School of Theatre, specifically designed for theatre graduates.
These programs frequently intersect, with students often taking courses across both the College of Fine Arts and College of Music. Applicants should carefully choose the program aligning with their interests and qualifications.

Our dedicated faculty members bring extensive professional experience in arts administration. With intimate class sizes, students develop meaningful connections with both professors and peers. Additionally, students collaborate with faculty and students from the College of Fine Arts, sharing courses with those pursuing Arts Administration and Theatre Management through the Department of Art Education and School of Theatre.
