The FSU School of Information's School Librarian Leadership Certificate equips school librarians with essential leadership capabilities by enhancing their expertise in technology integration, collaborative teaching, and information management. This specialized program focuses on cultivating leadership qualities, critical thinking abilities, and self-assessment techniques to excel in professional settings. The curriculum is carefully designed to empower participants to enhance educational outcomes, work closely with teachers to optimize library resources for diverse learning requirements, and skillfully incorporate appropriate technologies into school instructional programs.
Provide proof of Completion of a bachelor’s degree from a regionally-accredited college or university.
Have a minimum earned grade point average of 3.0 or higher on all upper-division undergraduate course work toward a bachelor’s degree, or a minimum 3.0 GPA on an earned master’s degree
