Our Graduate Program offers four specialized study paths: American Religious History (ARH), History and Ethnography of Religions (HER), Religion, Ethics, and Philosophy (REP), and Religions of Western Antiquity (RWA). Each specialization has distinct degree criteria. Those accepted into any of these four paths will receive guidance from faculty within their chosen discipline. Additionally, students will complete coursework and meet certain degree requirements beyond their primary focus area. The department maintains a policy of exclusively accepting full-time students into the Religion Graduate Program. The majority of admitted graduate students, including those pursuing MA degrees, receive financial support to help cover their educational expenses.
