Aspiring professional musicians can develop their creativity and personal skills through programs tailored to cultivate composers, performers, scholars, and educators. The college serves as the hub for multiple campus orchestras, bands, choirs, jazz ensembles, early music groups, nine global music ensembles, various chamber groups, plus the Florida State Opera and Music Theater Program. Annually, the College of Music presents approximately 350 performances and events while frequently organizing national conferences, workshops, and festivals including the biennial Festival of New Music. A graduate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution, or a comparable degree from an international institution
