FSU-Teach enables students to simultaneously earn an undergraduate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Geoscience, Mathematics, or Physics while completing a second major in secondary education. This streamlined program requires no extra credit hours, as education courses replace elective requirements. Students can complete their content degree in four years while becoming fully certified and highly-qualified teachers upon graduation.
The School of Teacher Education dedicates itself to exceptional educator preparation programs, serving Florida's needs, and conducting research across various educational fields including elementary education, early childhood development, literacy studies, special education, and visual impairments. The School offers outstanding programs for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students through comprehensive instruction, academic guidance, and professional mentorship. We aim to develop educational leaders who will enhance our diverse, interconnected world while addressing Florida's demand for globally-aware, educated citizens.
