Eligible undergraduate students pursuing a graduate degree in Geographic Information Science (GIScience) can apply for the Bachelors/Master's Pathways Program. This GIScience Pathway enables you to develop robust expertise in geographic information technologies (such as GIS, spatial analysis and modeling, remote sensing, and geovisualization), enhancing your career prospects. The integrated MS GIS pathways program permits the sharing or double counting of up to 12 graduate credit hours between your undergraduate degree and the master's in GIScience, with both degrees required to be completed at FSU.
The B.S. STEM degree in Environment & Society program examines the reciprocal impacts between humans and environmental changes. It integrates social and natural science courses to address critical contemporary environmental challenges, including ecosystem management, climate change, natural resource conservation, food production, marine exploitation, urban sustainability, land use planning, severe storm mitigation, and environmental health—covering how these issues are debated, assessed, evaluated, and translated into public policy.
