The College of Music serves as the central hub for numerous campus musical groups, including orchestras, bands, choirs, jazz ensembles, early music groups, nine world music ensembles, multiple chamber groups, the Florida State Opera, and the Music Theater Program. Annually, the college presents around 350 performances and events while frequently organizing national conferences, workshops, and festivals like the biennial Festival of New Music.
