International security has evolved into a multifaceted issue in global affairs, demanding diverse strategies and viewpoints. This program examines conventional security matters like conflict resolution, nuclear arms control, intelligence operations, and diplomatic relations, alongside topics influenced by changing geopolitical landscapes. Simultaneously, acknowledging evolving security priorities and the importance of human welfare, it also explores subjects such as civil liberties, democratic reforms, cross-border criminal activities, and corporate security risks.

Qualification Requirements

A minimum 3.00 grade point average (GPA) in a completed undergraduate degree program
All applicants must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of higher education, or an equivalent degree from a foreign institution with a minimum upper-division GPA of 3.0.
Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and/or universities.
Official proof of degree. A notarized copy of the original diploma is required if the degree is not posted on the official transcript(s).
Two letters of recommendation (professional and academic letters/recommendations only, at least one letter needs to be from a professor/faculty member, letters should be written on letterhead and signed by the recommender)
A statement of purpose (750 words minimum) describing the candidate's academic and professional background as well as career aspirations. The statement of purpose should also discuss how the Master of Arts in Global Affairs program (and the desired track) will benefit the candidate's professional aspirations.
