Qualification Requirements
Applicants must hold a four-year, U.S. equivalent undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university, with a minimum upper division grade point average (GPA) of 2.75.
Official transcripts are required from all previously attended colleges and/or universities.
The transcript is considered an official record of a student's work, showing courses taken and grades achieved. For transcripts to be considered official, they must be sent directly from the institution to FIU in a sealed envelope. Electronic transcripts are also accepted and must be sent directly from the institution to the school's official email.
Applicants who hold an undergraduate or graduate degree from an institution where the language of instruction is not English, must demonstrate English proficiency by taking either:
TOEFL (minimum scores: 550 paper-based, 213 computer-based, and 80 internet-based)
IELTS (minimum score: 6.5)
Duolingo (minimum score: 120)
