The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design is an immersive, rigorous full-time program with concentrations in scenic, lighting, and costume design. Students collaborate closely with acclaimed faculty designers through intimate class settings and personalized projects. The curriculum features design opportunities in both Main Stage and Studio Theatre productions, external internships, a culminating senior thesis project, plus professional development workshops for resumes and portfolios. Our Theatre Department participates in KCACTF (Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival) and holds accreditation from the National Association of Schools of Theatre. Entry requires both portfolio submission and an interview.
