For eligibility in the combined bachelor's/master's program, applicants must have earned between 75-90 credits in their FIU undergraduate studies while satisfying the graduate program's admission requirements. A single application to the combined program is required, which must be filed with Graduate Admissions prior to commencing the final 30 credits of the bachelor's degree. Combined program participants maintain undergraduate standing until applying for bachelor's degree graduation. After receiving their bachelor's degree, students attain graduate standing and qualify for graduate assistantships. Only courses at the 5000-level or above, within the credit limit set by the program catalog, can count toward both degrees.
