The Master of Science program in Mechanical Engineering provides multiple degree pathways. Candidates can opt for a standard Mechanical Engineering track (choosing between thesis or non-thesis) or focus on Sustainable Energy studies. The department participates in the cross-disciplinary Materials Science Program, enabling students to obtain a master's in Material Science. Exceptional undergraduates may qualify for the combined BS/MS Pathway, allowing them to enroll in graduate-level courses during their final two years of undergraduate study

Qualification Requirements
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or any engineering discipline, applied biochemistry, chemistry, computer science, materials science, mathematics, applied mathematics, physics and applied physics.
Hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of higher education and have earned a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or better in the last 60 credit hours of undergraduate work taken while enrolled as an upper-division undergraduate student working towards a bachelor's degree,
