The Master of Science in Chemistry program provides both thesis and non-thesis pathways. Students can pursue research in analytical, organic, inorganic, physical, biochemistry, and materials chemistry within our active department. Our Chemistry Department grants Master of Science degrees through either research-intensive thesis programs or coursework-focused non-thesis options. The thesis track combines advanced coursework with hands-on research experience, ideal for those pursuing chemical research careers or planning to continue toward a Ph.D.
As the foundational science connecting all STEM fields, chemistry plays a vital role across disciplines. Our faculty have designed a comprehensive program serving undergraduate and graduate students aiming for research, teaching, or advanced studies in chemistry, as well as those preparing for careers in medicine or dentistry.
