The Editing and Post Production Concentration offers an intensive curriculum tailored for students passionate about the craft and technology of film editing. Regardless of whether you're using Avid, Premiere, Final Cut, or other digital editing platforms, the fundamental principles, creative considerations, and editorial techniques stay consistent. Like the general Film Major, this concentration shares the same foundational requirements, allowing students to choose this specialization as late as their third year. Through a combination of interdisciplinary courses, the Editing Concentration equips students with post-production skills, preparing them to serve as editors on advanced student films. This hands-on experience helps them develop professional portfolios and launch careers in the post-production field.
