The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Primary Care program provides a single clinical specialization track focused on delivering primary healthcare services for children, addressing wellness checkups as well as acute and chronic conditions. Those who complete this specialized training gain the skills to address the full spectrum of healthcare requirements for infants, children, teenagers, and their families across diverse primary care environments. The program mandates 500 hours of hands-on, supervised clinical experience in pediatric nurse practitioner (PNP) practice. Training locations encompass Children's Healthcare of Atlanta facilities at Scottish Rite and Egleston Hospitals, Hughes Spaulding Children's Hospital, the Sickle Cell Clinic at Scottish Rite, along with numerous other pediatric and neonatal clinics throughout the Atlanta metropolitan region.
