This program aims to equip advanced practice nurses from the start of their careers with the skills to recognize, evaluate, and manage ethical challenges in clinical settings and healthcare leadership. Graduates earning both an MA-Bioethics and MSN degree will be uniquely qualified to improve patient care while also engaging in policy development, serving on ethics boards, or teaching about ethical principles in healthcare.
As one of just three U.S. institutions providing this dual MA-Bioethics/MSN program, you'll stand out among peers by showcasing your ability to tackle pressing ethical dilemmas in nursing. Typically, students finish the MA-Bioethics in 1-2 years and the MSN in 2-3 years, with no additional time required for the combined degree.
All post-secondary education will include a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, as well as post-baccalaureate degrees and other coursework not undertaken for a degree.
If you are an international applicant, you may need to submit TOEFL scores.
