The program aims to equip physical therapists not just to improve patient care in an evolving healthcare landscape, but also to engage with public and institutional policies affecting clinical services, participate in ethics committees, or teach about the moral principles underlying clinical practice.
As physical therapists' roles expand, so do their educational requirements and aspirations. The MA-Bioethics/DPT dual degree will offer aspiring physical therapists the chance to cultivate distinctive viewpoints and competencies. This innovative blend of knowledge, skills, and capabilities will empower Emory's dual degree holders to shape healthcare policy's ethical aspects and provide specialized guidance on panels addressing moral challenges in healthcare environments.
All post-secondary education will include a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, as well as post-baccalaureate degrees and other coursework not undertaken for a degree.
If you are an international applicant, you may need to submit TOEFL scores.
