Faculty research delves into multiple artistic fields including comedy, hip hop, lyrical poetry, novels, visual arts, and performance, employing diverse and overlapping methodologies like affect theory, critical analysis, deconstruction, feminist perspectives, hermeneutics, pragmatism, and relational aesthetics.

These investigations frequently focus on individual artworks or examine their roles within various social frameworks and cultural movements, often integrating insights from related fields such as art history, literary studies, cinema, musicology, and poetic theory.

Current research initiatives examine comedy's political influence, philosophical dimensions of Wagner's compositions, improvisational techniques, philosophical underpinnings in James Joyce's works, the atmospheric qualities of Brian Eno's music, concepts of artistic preference, and fundamental questions about aesthetic perception and creative significance.
