The Latin American and Caribbean Studies Program fosters interdisciplinary exploration of the region's culture, history, and modern challenges. Learners engage with diverse academic viewpoints through coursework while specializing in one disciplinary focus area. Graduates earn a Latin American and Caribbean Studies degree with a chosen specialization. The program strongly recommends study abroad opportunities in the region, allowing up to sixteen approved transfer credits toward the major. Beyond classroom learning, the initiative organizes academic talks, workshops, cultural displays, film screenings, and welcomes visiting academics while supporting student internship opportunities.
