This master's degree program offers two distinct pathways for entry-level students. Candidates can enroll at Eastern Michigan University as freshmen through the Combined Athletic Training (CAT) track, a 3+2 program culminating in both bachelor's and master's degrees. Participants fulfill pre-admission requirements at EMU and submit their applications in the winter term of their junior year. Upon acceptance, they commence the professional phase starting the subsequent summer semester, spanning their fourth and fifth years with mandatory summer courses. This pathway also accommodates transfer students without completed bachelor's degrees. Graduates receive dual credentials: a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Athletic Training degree.
