The Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science and Economics (ASEC) program equips students for one of the nation's most prestigious professions. ASEC students engage in a rigorous course of study encompassing mathematics, statistics, finance, and economics. This curriculum covers all key subjects recommended by major actuarial organizations to establish a strong foundation for an actuarial profession. Ideally, participants should complete two or three professional certification exams administered by actuarial associations prior to graduation. Graduates with an actuarial science degree and professional certifications enjoy outstanding prospects in insurance, as well as related financial and consulting sectors. Many program graduates also pursue advanced degrees in mathematics, economics, or financial engineering.
