The Master of Science in Geosciences program provides specialized tracks in Geospatial Science and Paleontology. A Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems draws working professionals and interdisciplinary students seeking GIS expertise. Our program equips students with hands-on research opportunities that bridge theory and practice, preparing them for professional roles or advanced academic pursuits. Numerous students showcase their work at industry conferences, with some publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals. The Bachelor of Science curriculum delivers comprehensive Geosciences education through four focus areas: Geography, Geology and Environment, Geospatial Science, and Paleontology. Geospatial Science training spans all concentrations, leading to careers across geosciences, urban development, public health, anthropology, engineering, and various government sectors. The Geology and Environment concentration utilizes geological principles to address environmental challenges from both natural and anthropogenic sources. Alumni pursue careers in consulting firms, geological survey agencies, and environmental/transportation departments.
