Engineering technologists specialize in putting engineering solutions and designs into practice. They utilize their expertise in mathematics, science, engineering, and technology to tackle technical challenges. Typically collaborating in teams, they develop and execute practical solutions.
ETSU's Engineering Technology program prepares graduates for diverse work environments across various sectors. Both major corporations and small enterprises, along with healthcare providers and government entities at all levels, require technologists' skills. These professionals apply their knowledge in research labs, construction projects, industrial facilities, and medical centers.
Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following areas: Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mathematics, or Physics. Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a scale of 4.0) for all attempted course work for the Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree. English language proficiency requirements: TOEFL score 550 (PBT), 79 (iBT), IELTS score of 6.5, PTE score of 53.
