The Department of Counseling and Human Services provides a single undergraduate program culminating in a Bachelor of Science degree. Students can also pursue minors in human development and learning or family studies through our department. Graduate programs include Master of Arts degrees in school counseling, couples and family therapy, clinical mental health counseling, and college counseling/student affairs. Our department delivers programs centered on implementing developmental, learning, and psychological concepts across diverse environments like homes, schools, and communities. We offer behavioral science courses for both majors and non-majors, with focus areas spanning developmental psychology, educational psychology, applied psychology, assessment techniques, human services, counseling approaches, early childhood development, and special education.
Applicants must have completed a secondary school and 2.3 GPA on a U.S. 4.0 scale required.
Official transcripts must be sent to ETSU by the issuing institution. Transcripts can be sent via email as long as they are directly from the secondary or post-secondary institution. Transcripts will not be accepted directly from the student.
