The Department of Theatre and Dance aims to enrich the cultural landscape by presenting thought-provoking and engaging performances for students, faculty, staff, and community members. Each year, the Department stages several main-stage shows along with student-directed showcase productions. Academic programs feature specializations in Acting, Design/Production, General Theatre, Musical Theatre, and Physical Theatre. By blending classroom instruction with practical experience, the Department equips students for successful careers in professional theater, film, television, and various entertainment sectors. Numerous graduates continue their education through advanced degree programs or professional training. Before graduating, students are required to complete both a Major Field Test and the standard University exit exam.
