The College of Visual and Performing Arts provides students with the chance to create customized study programs leading to a Bachelor of Arts degree. Earning a B.A. requires proficiency in a foreign language. Through the contract major option, students with unique, clearly defined academic goals can develop a specialized major with faculty guidance. Each program must center on a coherent, engaging theme or subject area. Students should present their proposed programs to the College of Visual and Performing Arts associate dean, with final approval granted by the College Contract Major Committee.
