The Actuarial Science Certificate is an 18-credit program featuring courses from both the McAnulty College of Liberal Arts and Palumbo School of Business. Completing this program holds the same weight as earning a minor from the College of Liberal Arts. Open to all Duquesne University students, the certificate requires 14 extra prerequisite credits for full access. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for passing two actuarial exams prior to graduation while fulfilling at least three courses that meet the Society of Actuaries' Validation by Educational Experience (VEE) criteria.
