If you're similar to many students starting law school, completing your degree in three years might be your preferred option. This decision largely hinges on your personal learning approach and how clear you are about your future career path.
Our standard JD program allows three years to thoroughly explore the wide array of legal career possibilities. This extended timeframe proves particularly valuable if you're still undecided about your specific legal specialization.
The three-year JD program works exceptionally well for those aiming for conventional career tracks in major firms or government organizations. As a student in this program, you'll have opportunities for two semester-long co-op positions plus two full summers working with law firms or government bodies. Imagine the depth of legal experience you could gain!
For those who prefer thorough preparation, you can even begin your JD studies early by completing seven credits of first-year courses during the summer before your full-time program starts. This early start option lets you get ahead in your legal education while still graduating with your peers in the three-year program.
