This Teacher Education BS certification track offers a comprehensive curriculum developed in partnership with the College of Computing and Informatics to train future Computer Science educators for Pennsylvania schools. Students can consult their academic advisors about meeting certification criteria for additional teaching fields if they choose.
Program participants must maintain a 3.0 GPA in all content courses required for certification, plus earn a B or higher in every EDEX, EDLT, CS, EDPO, EDUC, and ESTM class during their studies. Fulfilling these academic standards is mandatory for Drexel to endorse graduates for teaching certification and recognize program completion.
College of Arts and Sciences students in relevant majors may also qualify for certification through our DragonsTeach program while completing their degree requirements.

Qualification Requirements
Official transcripts must be sent directly from your high school to Drexel They cannot accept self-submitted transcripts. You are required to submit transcripts from each high school attended. Transcripts must include all coursework from grades nine 9 ten 10 and eleven 11 Twelfth 12th grade coursework in progress should also be included.
Important notes for international applicants -
A transcript is official only when it is sent directly from an institution to the Office of Admissions or when it is officially signed stamped in color and sealed. Use your legal name on all documents should match the name listed on your passport. All students who attended any portion of secondary school outside of the US are required to submit an official academic record with notarized English translation from every secondary or postsecondary school attended Transcripts must reflect 9th 10th and 11th grade coursework and grades earned as well as any 12th grade coursework in progress.
Two letters of recommendation are required.
