Drexel's Bachelor of Science (BS) in Neuroscience offers an interdisciplinary approach for students fascinated by the biological foundations of cognition and behavior. This program is ideal for those pursuing professional paths or research opportunities in medicine, neurobiology, neurology, animal science, neuroengineering, neuroscience, and related health disciplines.
This collaborative program involves the Department of Biology and the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences, along with the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems. Our forward-thinking curriculum merges knowledge from various fields, equipping students for the dynamic future of neuroscience while establishing a robust foundation in interconnected subjects like biology, psychology, mathematics, biomedical engineering, statistics, neuroethics, and computer science.
The BS in Neuroscience is designed for students dedicated to exploring how multiple disciplines converge to advance neuroscientific understanding and its real-world applications. While neuroscience majors discover career possibilities in biology, clinical practice, psychology, cognitive science, or biomedical engineering, the program focuses on synthesizing knowledge across these areas to study, treat, and improve neural functions in both healthy and diseased states.

Qualification Requirements
Official transcripts must be sent directly from your high school to Drexel They cannot accept self-submitted transcripts. You are required to submit transcripts from each high school attended. Transcripts must include all coursework from grades nine 9 ten 10 and eleven 11 Twelfth 12th grade coursework in progress should also be included.

A transcript is official only when it is sent directly from an institution to the Office of Admissions or when it is officially signed stamped in color and sealed. Use your legal name on all documents should match the name listed on your passport. All students who attended any portion of secondary school outside of the US are required to submit an official academic record with notarized English translation from every secondary or postsecondary school attended Transcripts must reflect 9th 10th and 11th grade coursework and grades earned as well as any 12th grade coursework in progress.
Two letters of recommendation are required.
