The Drexel LeBow international business program, available as both a major and co-major, prepares students to navigate global business relationships across various levels - from teams and corporations to entire industries and nations. The curriculum covers multinational corporations' roles, global trade dynamics, economic growth strategies, and international financial systems. Students explore how core business functions like finance, management, legal frameworks, and marketing operate on an international scale. Through the Dana and David Dornsife Office for Experiential Learning, participants can engage in hands-on global consulting projects via specialized coursework.
While commerce between developed nations remains significant, the most rapid expansion in international business is occurring in emerging economies across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. This program positions students at the forefront of this global shift. Beyond foundational international business courses, learners can deepen their regional expertise through minors in Asian Studies, Middle Eastern and North African Studies, Africana Studies, or Spanish language and literature electives.
