The newly launched International Trade programs (Bachelor's and Master's) in the Geography Department equip students to analyze contemporary globalization dynamics. These include the expansion of multinational corporations and foreign investments, worldwide commerce, the globalization of financial systems, evolving labor divisions across borders, and accelerating technological advancements. Such transformations are reshaping global economic structures and creating new disparities in development. Businesses, government agencies, and NGOs must now address complex socioeconomic and ecological issues. These degree programs aim to ready both undergraduate and graduate students for professional or academic paths in the dynamic realm of global commerce. Students will explore diverse viewpoints on international economics while honing crucial abilities in policy evaluation and spatial data interpretation across different scales.
