Drexel's Health Sciences undergraduate program and Physician Assistant (PA) graduate program have collaborated to create a BS/MHS Bridge Program for top-performing Health Sciences students. This accelerated BS/MHS PA Bridge Program allows students to earn both their bachelor's and master's degrees in Health Sciences, along with eligibility for the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE), in just 5.25 years instead of the standard 6.25 years.
During the initial three years, students work toward their Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, followed by 2.25 years of graduate study for the Master of Health Science degree. The bachelor's degree is conferred after the fourth year (which includes the first graduate year), with the master's degree awarded upon finishing the Physician Assistant program.
