The Arts and Letters program is an interdisciplinary graduate liberal studies curriculum tailored for working professionals. We provide two degree options (MLitt, DLitt) with seven specialized concentrations that leverage Drew University's excellence in humanities, creative/performing arts, religious studies, and teacher preparation. Students can choose between part-time and full-time enrollment across diverse academic and creative disciplines. Intimate seminar courses are offered through in-person, online, and hybrid delivery methods. Dedicated faculty advisors collaborate with students to create personalized academic paths aligned with their aspirations. The program supports career advancement through internship opportunities and optional professional certifications, particularly for those pursuing postsecondary teaching roles. Alumni have established careers as secondary educators in language arts and history, college faculty members, published authors, and nonprofit leaders.
