The Associate of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics for Transfer provides foundational education in microbiology, human anatomy, physiology, chemistry, and nutritional studies. This program is designed for students aiming to pursue a bachelor's degree in a related field at a California State University. Graduates are assured admission into the CSU system, though not to a specific campus or program. To obtain this degree, students must finish 60 semester units of transferable CSU coursework with at least a 2.0 GPA. Those admitted to a CSU campus honoring this degree will need to complete a maximum of 60 additional units for their bachelor's. This pathway may not suit students targeting a specific CSU campus, non-CSU institutions, or those not planning to transfer.
Student will qualify for admission with one of the following: a high school diploma, by passing the California Certificate of Proficiency Test or General Education Development Test (GED) or be at least 18 years old and no longer enrolled in high school.
