Our Master of Science program in Speech Language Pathology equips you to become a certified speech language pathologist (SLP), trained to address various communication and swallowing disorders across all age groups (from children to adults). The curriculum covers:

fluency disorders
language comprehension and expression
cognitive communication skills (focusing on attention, memory, sequencing, problem-solving, and executive function)
vocal quality and resonance (encompassing breathing and sound production)
articulation and speech sounds
alternative communication methods
auditory function and its effect on speech and language
dysphagia management
interpersonal communication skills

Qualification Requirements

To be eligible for the SLP program, students must hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) including the courses listed below OR a bachelor's degree in any area other than CSD with completion of the prerequisite coursework.
You must have a previous grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. We are looking for a minimum 3.0 GPA in Communication Sciences and Disorders coursework as well.
