Students will gain the ability to utilize their understanding of young adolescent learners to establish secure, fair, and engaging educational settings and cooperative math classrooms. They will design and implement challenging math lessons tailored for young adolescent students. They'll exhibit and utilize subject matter expertise and teaching methodologies, focusing on fostering students' conceptual and procedural comprehension. Learners will incorporate visual, analytical, numerical, and verbal approaches across various math disciplines in age-appropriate educational settings. They will assess mathematics education studies to enhance their teaching and learning knowledge and recognize the theoretical foundations guiding their instructional methods.
